Is there a charge for using the cards when checking out?
No. Our payroll card can be used for no charge for both debit and credit transactions at millions of locations worldwide. Purchases made at retail locations outside the fifty (50) states of the U.S. and the District of Columbia are subject to an International Transaction Fee for currency conversion, see your Cardholder Agreement for details.
Can I receive cash back from merchants?
Yes – for no charge! Use your PIN for cash back. Be aware that not all merchants offer cash back services.
Can I receive cash back from banks?
Yes – through a bank teller withdrawal. You may make one withdrawal per pay period at no cost for up to the full amount of your paycheck; subsequent transactions in the same pay period will incur a fee (SVC CHG CASH ADV). Please review your Cardholder Agreement for a complete list of fees.
Can I transfer funds from my SOLE Payroll Card to a bank account?
Yes (Transfers are not immediate. It will take between 1 to 2 banking days). There is a fee for this service, see your Cardholder Agreement for a complete list of fees. Bank account to card transfers require additional steps.
Can I transfer funds from my SOLE Payroll Card to another SOLE Payroll Card?

Can I receive text messages or email alerts when a deposit is made to my card?
Yes. There is a fee for this service. See Cardholder Agreement for a complete list of fees. Alerts include: deposit, low balance, signature transactions, weekly balance and more. Standard text messaging and data rates from your wireless service provider may apply.
Can I customize my card?
Yes. Call us at any time to get a card with your name embossed. You may also upload a photo or choose from our gallery using our ePix product. (No cost for the first card for either option; after the first updated card, there is a fee for this service. See your Cardholder Agreement for a complete list of fees.)
Does the card have a maximum deposit limit?
Yes. Your card account can hold no more than $9,999.00.
Can I overdraft my card? If so, is there an overdraft fee?
No, your card account cannot overdraft. Instead of overdrafting, your transaction will be denied. While there is no overdraft fee, a denied transaction will incur a fee of $0.50 per rejected transaction. (Denied Transaction - SVC CHG DENIED TXN)
How much does this program cost the company?
Nothing. Our payroll cards are designed for payroll purposes and are provided at no charge to the company.
Is my money safe?
Your funds are FDIC insured through The Bancorp Bank and Axiom Bank; Members FDIC.
Many of our paper check employees speak Spanish. Can you help them?
Yes. We provide our SOLE Paycard welcome call and marketing materials in Spanish. Each cardholder gets a welcome call from one of our bilingual reps teaching them how to use the card.
How does SOLE Financial make money?
SOLE Financial makes money by cardholders using our opt-in services and from Interchange fees.
Do you provide marketing tools (posters, check inserts, enrollment forms, etc.)?
Yes – for no charge as part of our marketing package.
How long does it take to get the card?
7-10 business days. Temporary cards are available from your employer.
Can I view my account activity online?
Yes. Click on the 'View Account' button to log in to your account online.
How can I check my balance?
You can check your paycard balance and transaction history at no cost online (login by clicking on 'View Account' button) or on the SOLE Paycard app for iPhone and Android. You can also call customer service to check your balance over the phone, but a fee may apply. See your Cardholder Agreement for a full list of fees.
How old does a cardholder have to be?
16 years old or older.
Can I receive a monthly paper statement?

I lost my card! Help?
We provide the employer with temporary cards to keep on hand. Call our customer service line to speak to an account manager, who can help transfer your funds over to the temporary card, so you have access to your money while you wait for your replacement card. There is a fee for this service; see your Cardholder Agreement for a complete list of fees. To get your account number, log in to your account at solepaycard.com or call us at 1-800-457-5809.
Can I send a check for my rent from my SOLE Visa Payroll Card?
Yes - you can use our online bill pay service to send your landlord a check by a specific date (fees apply; see Cardholder Agreement).
What if I change jobs?
Use your SOLE paycard's routing number and account number to receive any direct deposits onto your card, even if you leave the job where you received the card! You can use your paycard for your next job, for unemployment benefits, or for tax returns.
Is there any credit line offered with the card?
No. This is a Visa Payroll Card and is not a credit product.
What time do direct deposits post?
Usually between midnight and 4am Pacific Time, the same business day that your paycheck was deposited by your employer. If your direct deposit isn't in your account by then, please call customer service.
Can I load cash onto my card?
Although you can add any direct deposits onto your card, even if you leave the job where you received it, only some cards can be loaded with cash via MoneyGram. To find out if your paycard is eligible and what fees might apply, check your Cardholder Agreement or call customer service.
Why can’t I log into the app? My login works on the website.
The app and website use a separate username and password. You have to create an account for the app before you use it, even if you already have a solepaycard.com account.
Why can’t I log in at solepaycard.com?
If you ordered a new card, you will experience a brief period where the website wants you to log in with your new card information (before you’ve received the new card). Instead of using the website, check your balance on the app or call customer service.
Why can’t I see my account number on the app?
A bug in our app prevents cardholders who have ordered an ePix card from seeing their account number. While we are working on a solution, you can log into solepaycard.com or call customer service to get your routing number and account number.
