Ace Hardware is a nationally trusted hardware store specializing in friendly customer service. Crown Ace is a franchise of Ace Hardware with locations throughout California and Arizona.

The Situation:

Issuing paper checks to 30% of its workforce was a logistical nightmare for Crown Ace Hardware. Every two weeks, paychecks were delivered to all of Crown Ace’s store locations. When an employee misplaced a paycheck, a new check had to be delivered via overnight air mail, and a stop-payment issued to cancel the original check.

Simple Onboarding

When Crown Ace's HR team decided to replace paper checks with payroll cards, they turned to a trusted source—their payroll processor, Paycom—who referred Crown Ace to SOLE. After a few quick conversations, Crown Ace was issuing paycards to their employees.
